There is no thought involved in customer service:
Customer service is just doing the prescribed work the company tells, and assisting the public. Thus everything is the same and there is no difference between good and bad. If common sense is applied, things will go smoothly.
Invest in marketing and advertising:
It takes more money to invest on customers and to improve their offerings. Without superior customer service it will be hard to improve the quality provided to the society. People are willing to spend more on this service.
You have to satisfy the customers all the time:
This is not true at all. Customers do want all products and service but it is not necessary that they need to satisfy every time. Companies give good customer service by under-promising and over-delivering.
